The famous one. Among the original 32,000 Windows deals, #11982 is the only one that cannot be solved. Fans proved it in 1994–95 while working through every deal by hand.

Can it really not be solved?
Computer solvers have searched every line of play: with 4 free cells there is no way to finish. Give it a fifth free cell and it becomes solvable. Try it anyway; it is a good test of how far you can get.
